The well-known producer, Elgit Doda, was invited today to the show "Pardon My French" via a telephone connection.
He has answered many questions that all of us as a public had regarding the new song of the resident of the most famous house in Albania, Luiz Ejlli. How did this collaboration come about? How did it manage to be completed in record time? How did it turn out so beautifully?
Seeing the whole thing that is happening inside, which I believe the whole of Albania has seen. The 'demo' wasn't ready, I didn't have anything ready and it was all done in half an hour as a melody line and then I spent half a day with the lyrics to finish it. We decided that we would make a song together with the staff of "BBV" and then I acted with the text and the melody.
Is the text written by Elgit himself?
The text was written by me, but all the time I was watching 'Big' I got some key words that Luiz himself said to him, such as: "Take my eyes, look at yourself".
How did it get done in just 30 minutes?
Inspiration is that thing where you go to the studio with the idea that you are going to create something. I have something very good, I directly take the responsibility of someone else to turn it into a song and that is a gift. Even directly the feeling of that boy that I have seen on social networks, I took his feeling directly and turned it into a song.
Did Elgiti go to the Confession Room and meet Luiz?
I only went to the confession room when I got his voice. The point is that Luiz, maybe from too much smoking and a little abuse inside, had a bit of a broken voice and the whole thing is that I had to get the song from him very quickly. He rehearsed with himself, but without me there, and the voice was very fast.
How did Elgit himself receive this success?
I knew what was going to happen, it is not a thing that is not predicted that thing. Of course I'm glad when you try to make it your art and of course you show it by giving it to someone who maybe at the moment has influence and that's something very nice to change the course of some things in music.
Did you know Louise before?
No, the first time.
