Famous Italian DJ dies in Ibiza

Michele Noschese, 35, a well-known DJ and producer in Italy, passed away at midnight last Friday and Saturday in Ibiza, under still unclear conditions.

Known as DJ Godzi, he was at his home, where a party was taking place with his friends, when due to the loud music, neighbors notified the police. Police have intervened at the scene, and according to several testimonies of people who were present, the 35-year-old is suspected of being hit by police officers.

His father, a doctor, accused the Spanish authorities in an interview with Tg2. "They beat him with sticks. The autopsy was carried out in a hurry," he said.

The father also announced that he will begin a legal battle to seek justice for his son.

Meanwhile, a new version of the event presented by the Guardia Civil of Palma de Mallorca describes that Noschese was under the influence of drugs, and that he threatened an elderly neighbor with a knife.

According to authorities, during the attempt to keep him under control, he began to exhibit contractions.

Efforts were then made to save him, but they were unsuccessful.

Currently, Spanish authorities are conducting an investigation into the incident and the autopsy results have not yet been released.

Michele Noschese lived in Ibiza for several years, but also performed in many European countries and the USA, from London to Paris and other cities.

Before focusing fully on music, Michele had graduated in economics and was involved in professional football.
