While close associates of various celebrities resign and confess the mistreatment they received from their famous bosses, we have close associates of Bill Gates who confess how much they admire him and what a great leader he has been to them.

In particular, Chris Williams has worked at Microsoft for 8 years, while some of the positions he has served are podcast producer, business consultant, and TikToker.

He even managed to build a long career in the world of technology and media, while as he says, Bill Gates was the one who helped him understand what really matters on a personal and professional level.

Among other things, he described Gates as a genius and stated that he was almost always correct in his assessments.

In addition to the above, however, Chris Williams recounts 3 other lessons he learned from Bill Gates and will never forget:

"Bill Gates taught me to ask questions, not answers"

According to him, Gates handled every issue with a reason? He asked more and more questions in order to have a holistic approach to every issue. Curiosity in the creator of Microsoft is something that dominates strongly, something that can be easily understood from the first moment.

He is known for his pointed questions which ultimately make you delve deeper into each topic and thus master it better. Gates always encouraged his associates to be curious and want to understand everything, with every detail and care.

"bull smell"

This is an expression that Chris Williams held, through his meetings at Microsoft. As he explains, when Gates had a question he usually asked, there were two types of answers.

On the one hand, there were those who had the courage to admit that they simply did not know the answer to the given question, and on the other hand, there were those who improvised their answers at the time or made assumptions.

The second category of responses actually did more harm than good to the discussion. And so Gates told his colleagues to "smell the bulls", that is, to understand from the first moment who is talking nonsense from his head.

"Find structure in chaos"

One of Bill Gates' greatest abilities, according to Chris Williams, was the fact that he could find a way out of chaos. In complex facts and opinions, he could find structure and meaning. Particularly important to him, in fact, were the twice-daily meetings he held with his team to make sure they were moving in the right direction.

"Maybe the whole team, we were confused about whether we should follow scenario X or scenario Y. But Bill Gates was the one who could get us out of the jam." Finally, his partner refers to Gates' ability to simultaneously see the details of an issue, but also the "big picture."
