Statistics say that there are many couples who are not sure if their current partner is the right one or not. Add to this uncertainty a mistake on Valentine's Day and you can obviously ask "Am I exaggerating if I want to part with this very negligence?"

Relationship expert Hayley Quinn says:

"Just because it's Valentine's Day doesn't mean you have to plan a dinner or vacation together, but if it's important to you, it should be important to your significant other. It's also important to be honest with yourself and how you feel."

There are those people who find Valentine's Day cliché or those who think that "Valentine's Day is every day". However, if you do not belong to this group, you would do well to communicate this to your partner.

It wouldn't be fair to close everything out of inadvertent neglect, but if your partner knows very well what you like and refuses to do it - then something is wrong.

Besides communication, another idea would be for you to be the first to do something nice for Valentine's Day and maybe your partner will follow up with something better. If that doesn't work either - we emphasize again, something is wrong.
