The Constitutional Court, convened on Friday, partially accepted the request of DP leader Sali Berisha for the security measure of compulsory appearance.

The Constitutional Court did not lift the mandatory appearance measure as requested by Berisha, but referred the case for reconsideration to the High Court.

In its decision, by majority vote, the Constitutional Court has decided to repeal the decision of the Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court, dated April 22, 2025, as incompatible with the Constitution, and to send the case for reconsideration to the Supreme Court.
