Zelenskyy comments on the Ukrainian attack on Russia: Moscow deserves an answer
Volodymyr Zelensky

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky  has given his comment on the Ukrainian attack in Kursk, Russia.

Zelenskyy said that the measure taken by Ukraine is for revenge, for the attacks that Russia has made on the Ukrainian state.

He said that Russia deserves an answer, since during the summer it made almost 2,000 attacks in the border countries.

"We launched artillery, mortars and drones. We also do missile attacks. Russia's attacks deserve a fair response," the Ukrainian leader said.

Reports from the war front say that up to 6,000 troops have crossed the border. Kiev has said that Ukrainian troops have also entered the Belgorod region.
