One of CNN's reporters, Anderson Cooper , who was reporting from Florida was hit in the face by pieces of debris, minutes after Hurricane Milton hit Siesta Key in Florida.
The 57-year-old reporter was covering the catastrophic disaster live in Bradenton, a few miles from Siesta Key.
"This was not good. We'll probably be in for a bit," he said.
At the time Cooper was reporting for CNN, winds were blowing at speeds of more than 150 kilometers per hour, disrupting normal traffic and canceling thousands of flights.
Cooper was reporting that the water level reached his knees moments before he was hit by a piece of debris.
