Court decision for asylum seekers, Sunak: We will appeal! We decide who will

The British court ruled that the government's plan to send asylum seekers to Rwanda is illegal, but Prime Minister Rishi Sunak disagrees.

While emphasizing that he respects the court's decision, he added that he will appeal the decision.

" While I respect the court, I fundamentally disagree with their conclusions. I strongly believe that the Rwandan government has provided the necessary guarantees to ensure that there is no real risk that asylum seekers resettled under Rwanda's policy will be wrongly returned to third countries. Rwanda is a safe country. The policy of this government is very simple, it is this country - and the government - that should decide who will come here, not the criminal gangs. And I will do whatever it takes to do that ," Sunak said.

This reaction comes after the Court of Appeal in London overturned the British government's plan to send thousands of asylum seekers to Rwanda, arguing that it is not a safe country.

The decision is considered a defeat for Prime Minister Sunak, who has pledged to stop illegal immigration at all costs, with a special focus on those coming from Albania.
