New details have emerged regarding the person who lost his life on Thursday in Kosovo, during an exchange of fire with the special police forces.

The victim is the young man Dukagjin Gashi, a chef by profession, who is suspected of being one of the perpetrators of the armed robbery of the jewelry store in Suharekë, days ago.

Dukagjin Gashi was surrounded by the police in the "Dragodan" neighborhood and after shooting at the officers, they retaliated, leaving him dead on the spot.

According to Kosovar media, Gashi was suspected of having fought alongside ISIS in Syria together with his brother Korab, who is still on the run.

In the robbery of the jewelry store in Suhareka, there were three masked and heavily armed persons, they shot at the police and injured an officer. Meanwhile, in yesterday's police operation, 4 other people suspected of being involved in this event were arrested.
