Bombed by the US, Iranians hold emergency meeting with Putin

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi said he will travel to Moscow on Sunday to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin, A2 CNN reports. According to Reuters, Araghchi said he intends to meet with Putin on Monday.

He accused the US of having no respect for international law and of crossing a "very big red line" by attacking Iran's nuclear facilities. "They only understand the language of threat and force," Araghchi said.

His statements come as the Kremlin has announced that there are no plans for a conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump following the attacks.

Speaking during a visit to Turkey, Araghchi said Tehran is keeping all options open to protect its “security, interests and people.” He added that Iran’s armed forces are on full alert.

"Wait for our response first. When the aggression ends, then we can decide," he said.
