During an interview on the "Mark Levin Show", US President Donald Trump made a gaffe, but this time it has to do with Albania.
While talking about the peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia, he confused the latter with Albania.
By confusing our country with Armenia, Trump boasted that he had resolved several international conflicts.
In reality, the agreement he mentioned is related to the long-standing conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia over the Nagorno-Karabakh region, where Azerbaijan regained control in 2023. Albania has not been part of this conflict.
Trump said he had managed to bring the parties to the table and that after the talks they even "embrace each other," calling it one of his greatest diplomatic successes.
His statement has sparked reactions due to its blatant geopolitical error.
