Trump talks about great progress with Russia: Stay ready!
Trump and Putin

US President Donald Trump spoke of "great progress with Russia" in a post on Truth Social, urging everyone to "stay ready."

Trump's tweet came as Zelensky and von der Leyen were holding a press conference in Brussels ahead of their meeting at the White House on Tuesday.

In other posts, Trump criticized the US media for "fake news" in its coverage of his meeting with Vladimir Putin in Alaska, which he described as excellent.

"If I were to convince Russia to give up Moscow as part of the deal, the fake NEW and their PARTNERS, the radical left-wing Democrats, would say I made a terrible mistake and a very bad deal," he wrote ironically.

"It's unbelievable how the Fake News violently distorts the truth when it comes to me. There is NOTHING I can say or do that will make them write or report honestly about me. I had a great meeting in Alaska regarding Biden's idiotic war, a war that should never have happened!!!", the US president then wrote in a second post.
