He trafficked immigrants to England, the Albanian is punished in Belgium

A 52-year-old Albanian man was sentenced to one year in prison by a court in Belgium, after being found guilty of participating in human trafficking.

Citizen Genci H. was first arrested on August 25, 2018 in the port of Colijnsplaat in the Netherlands, after he was found on a sailboat, on board of which were eight Albanians waiting to cross to Great Britain.

The boat was rented by an associate of the Albanian, but the latter escaped punishment because, according to the court, there was not enough evidence against him.
