Several incidents were recorded this afternoon in some areas of Zubin Potok and North Mitrovica in Kosovo, where, according to the police, there were explosions and gunfire.

From Tirana, where they were for the EU summit, the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, said that it was an attack carried out by gangs supported by President Aleksandër Vucic.

"We are in daily contact with the chairman of the CEC and in particular the coordination that has been done with the government institutions. Unfortunately, the situation in the north is escalating for a single reason, the gangs supported and financed by Vucic aim to destabilize the north of Kosovo and the Western Balkans itself. We must protect the life of each of our citizens. It is important that the safety of the citizens is above all. Now we are also waiting for the final report." - said Osmani.

But Serbian President Vucic, also speaking from Tirana, said that these attacks were ordered by the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti.

"Today again, contrary to the Brussels agreement, armed police officers were sent to the north. As I said yesterday, you are simply asking on which day some new provocation will occur that could disrupt stability and peace. It is good that, at least according to the current data, there are no victims and we believe that it will remain so. In terms of time, we do not know what is in the mind of those people who want to cause conflicts every week. It is not an easy period ahead of us, but it is important that we stand with our people and agree with the Albanians for everything that is possible so that peace is preserved and maintained. I also believe that Miroslav Lajçak will play an important role in calming the situation", said Vucic.
