Greek media have disclosed the testimony of 25-year-old Qamil Taja, who killed his 19-year-old partner in Greece in the early hours of Saturday morning. According to his testimony to the police, the fight started after the victim Krisjana Braka saw her partner's cell phone.

"We were on Saturday for the last time. She saw something on my mobile and the fight started. At that moment I rolled over and shot him. After that I don't remember anything. I regret the action I have taken", said the 25-year-old to the Greek police, according to Mega television.

After the murder, it was Qamil Taja himself who went to the police and surrendered, where he informed the authorities that he had committed murder. Greek police went to the couple's apartment in Piraeus and found the dead body of 19-year-old Albanian Krisjana Brakaj. The fight started in the early hours of the morning on December 3, after both had returned home from work.

Both the victim and the perpetrator worked as waiters in various nightclubs in Athens. Greek media have reported that the 25-year-old was under the influence of cocaine when he committed the murder. He shot his partner in the head with a pistol, which, as he stated before the investigators, he had taken from some Romanians a year ago. The Greek press has considered the 25-year-old Albanian as "pathologically jealous".
