The solemn session in honor of the 26th anniversary of the Kosovo Liberation Army started with a minute of silence for the Jashari family and all those who fell for freedom.

The MPs honored the sacrifice of the heroic family from Prekazi. Opposition positions have said that freedom is the legacy of the legendary commander and freedom martyrs. Former KLA fighters, who are being tried by The Hague, were also mentioned in this solemn session. Also, there was a call to preserve friendships and not to close the doors to friends.

A nice surprise in this session was the performance of Ilir Shaqiri and Shkurte Fejza. Shaqiri sang "March comes again", while Shkurte Fejza sang the song "I got words" dedicated to the legendary commander Adem Jashari.

On behalf of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Shqipe Selimi-Mehmeti stated that resistance is a virtue of the right. She honored the sacrifice of all heroes for freedom and independence of the country.

On the 26th anniversary of the KLA Epic, the head of PDK deputies, Abelard Tahiri mentioned Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi.

Meanwhile, the deputy of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Anton Quni, said that March 5, 6 and 7 are eternal Albanian dates. He added that the shot of Adem Jashari's rifle was the shot of protecting the threshold of the house.

Even the head of the Parliamentary Group of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Besnik Tahiri, honored the sacrifice of the Jashari family.
