The US military conducted its eighth strike against a suspected drug ship, killing two people, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said Wednesday.
Tuesday evening's attack occurred in the eastern Pacific Ocean.
The previous seven attacks targeted all ships in the Caribbean.
According to Hegseth in a social media post, the attack killed two people, bringing the death toll from all attacks to at least 34 people.
