Russia continues overnight attacks in Ukraine, at least 5 killed, including a

Deadly Russian attacks in Ukraine continue even before the meeting between President Volodymyr Zelensky and US President Donald Trump at the White House.

In the northeastern city of Kharkiv, at least four people, including a child, were killed after a Russian drone hit an apartment block, the mayor, Ihor Terekhov, said. Part of the building collapsed and there are fears more people could be under the rubble, the BBC reports.

In the Zaporizhia region, one person died and six were injured (including two children) in a Russian attack using cluster bombs, said the head of the regional administration, Ivan Fedorov.

Crucial discussions are expected at the White House regarding the war in Ukraine. The Ukrainian president will first meet with Trump and then hold a joint meeting with European leaders.
