In the "Eye to Eye" communication with followers, Prime Minister Edi Rama announced a new plan of measures in Tirana, where according to him, the occupations with beams, and the taking and giving of tickets to park cars, will be put to an end.
Despite having a property, Rama said that it cannot be used as desired, and is placed at the expense of citizens living in a residential block.
"Regarding those mini-parks that you love and ask for, it is very right, but when you see that a mini-park is being built where you want it, keep in mind that there is also private property. These are the rights of the owners, it is not that you see a space there and say come on, let's go in and do it, that that space has owners. We are working with the municipality on a new plan to clean all spaces within all neighborhoods, from all types of occupations, starting from a terrible and intolerable occupation with beams and with taking and giving tickets to park the car because someone says I have a property here. You cannot have property and use it as you want by putting beams on the citizens who live in a residential block", said Rama.
