The Government of Kosovo has tonight approved the decision to remove the sticker/sticker regime from cars with Serbian license plates that enter the Kosovar territory, while calling it an "act of good neighborliness" the decision taken at Thursday's electronic meeting, announced in in the evening, the press office of the government of Kosovo.
This step follows Serbia's decision to allow the free movement of all vehicles from Kosovo to Serbian territory, without the obligation to cover the inscription RKS (Republic of Kosovo) with adhesive paper, although the Serbian authorities have insisted that this should not be understood as de facto recognition of Kosovo.
"The Government of the Republic of Kosovo held today the next electronic meeting, in which it approved the decision to remove the paper stickers/stickers regime for cars with Serbian license plates. The removal of the sticker paper/sticker regime is an act of good neighborliness and comes after full recognition of the number plates of the Republic of Kosovo by Serbia", the announcement states.
