A serious incident has been prevented in Puka. The police announce that a 50-year-old man threatened his neighbor with a firearm.

As a result, the police immediately went to the scene and made it possible to arrest the man in time.

The two neighbors in the village of Micoj, Fushë Arrëz had a conflict over the properties. 

Police notification:

The immediate intervention of the Police services prevents a possible criminal event. He threatened his neighbor with a Kalashnikov firearm, during a conflict for property reasons, the Police arrested the 50-year-old in the act.

The Kalashnikov firearm and a comb with cartridges, which the 50-year-old possessed without a permit, were seized.

Yesterday afternoon, the services of the Pukë Police Station received notification of a conflict for property reasons between 2 citizens, in the village of Micoj, Fushë Arrëz.

Police services immediately went to this village and as a result of quick actions, they made it possible to catch the 50-year-old citizen red-handed.

This citizen is suspected of having threatened his neighbor, a 35-year-old citizen, with a Kalashnikov firearm during a conflict over ownership.

The Police Services seized as material evidence the Kalashnikov firearm and a comb with cartridges, which the citizen was carrying without the relevant permit.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
