There will be no independent Kosovo. This is what Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said at a meeting of his progressive party in Pancevo. According to him, there are international expectations that Belgrade will hand over Kosovo on a plate.

"Do whatever you want, outside and inside, but I will not allow Serbia to be destroyed, and there will be no independent Kosovo."

Vučić further added that he will not allow the government to be changed by force, under the influence of others from abroad, nor will he implement policies against the interests of Serbia. I will never serve foreigners, was his declaration.

"They will not lead Serbia's foreign policy. They will not decide for me who to sanction, they will not decide for me whether Serbia will join NATO. People will decide."

He has invited the citizens to participate in a march planned by his party in Belgrade, during the following days. "No retreat, no surrender, we will protect our country", said Vucic.
