The Turkish Minister of Defense, Yasar Guler, has stated that Israel can attack Turkey, thus supporting the statements made a few days ago by President Erdogan, who described Israel as a direct threat to the country.

"Israel is an aggressive country; can attack us", said the minister, while hinting at the possibility of the outbreak of the Third World War at any moment.

Speaking during a live broadcast for a news television in Turkey, Minister Guler emphasized that Turkey must be prepared for any scenario.

When asked if Israel could be a direct threat to Turkey.

"Our president is warning society because he sees this danger. Would Mr. President express such concerns if he did not see a possible threat from Israel?" Guler answered when asked if Israel could be a direct threat to Turkey.

Guler drew historical parallels, recalling how previous world wars were started by seemingly minor events, warning that conflict could erupt suddenly.

"Of course, we do not want war, but we must always be ready", said the minister during his statements.

The Minister of Defense emphasized that Turkey's priority is to maintain peace, but added that the country's security forces are making detailed plans for any possible threat.

Guler's comments come amid heightened regional tensions, with Israel's military operations in Gaza and Lebanon sparking widespread concern across the Middle East.
