'He told me to marry whoever you want', the deceased had offered money

Hamide Magashi, the pregnant woman who was killed by her ex-husband, is said to have offered her money just to leave her alone with the child. In the file provided by Kallxo, the suspect Sokol Halili told the judge that his wife wanted him to return to the family.

"They promised me a large amount of money, but they left me to go to my father's house, they told me to marry whomever you want, just leave me and the child alone," the court record says.

Even in front of the judge, the suspect had declared that he would not let Hamide Magashi go free under any conditions, as he would not allow the deceased to keep her as a child. All this was said in court at the time the protection order was being imposed.

Meanwhile, the victim's statements before the investigation showed that she had reported the continuous violence that the deceased had faced. Hamide Magashi had stated that she was forced to hand over the wages earned from her work in the Municipality of Ferizaj to her husband every month.

In this file, the victim stated that every visit to her family was accompanied by her mother-in-law and watched by her husband.

Magashi had even reported that the man had threatened to kill his sister's husband and have sex with her sister in her presence. But Halili has denied these claims.
