The capital of Ukraine, Kiev, faced one of the most brutal attacks since the start of the war with Russia this morning.
Several Russian missiles and drones were launched towards Kiev, targeting civilian buildings or the offices of international institutions.
But a Russian "Geran-3" suicide drone was also used during this attack. Fragments of the drone found on the ground have revealed some interesting details.
The drone uses a jet engine, which helps it reach extremely high speeds and helps extend its flight range.
But according to unconfirmed photos that are already circulating on social media, the drone's jet engine may have been manufactured in the Czech Republic.
It is about the PBS TJ40-G2 engine that is produced in the Czech Republic. The similarity in the photo is great, but the Czech company PBS Velká Bíteš itself has reacted by categorically denying such a thing. The company says that it does business only with Ukraine and not with sanctioned countries like Russia. However, Russia often manages to avoid sanctions by using third countries.
This drone model also uses a Chinese-made "SW400 pro" jet engine.
Another interesting detail is that the drone uses a Bosch model 0-580 fuel pump, which is easily found in many types of cars. Even in this case, the possibility of trafficking is not ruled out, but also the fact that this pump, although it reads Bosch, could be a Chinese copy.
As a central control unit, the drone uses the Chinese Swivel SW400 board.
