Hyra Thaçi, the mother of the former president of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, is wearing a T-shirt with the photo of her son and three other former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army, who are being held in the custody of the Special Court in The Hague.

"Liberty is you", is written on the T-shirt of Hashim Thaçi's mother.

This Sunday, thousands of citizens marched in Pristina in support of the former leaders of the KLA. The march for justice has brought together the entire political scheme, civil society, various personalities and religious communities.

The former leaders of the KLA, Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi, are accused of war crimes and have been in custody since November 2020. They are accused of war crimes and crimes against humanity, while their trial will begin tomorrow.
