Chaos in a prison in Italy/ Prisoners break the siege, 5 escape, 2 are captured.

Seven inmates escaped on Christmas afternoon from a juvenile prison where they were serving time for crimes they had committed.

According to the authorities in Milan, the event took place in the "Cesare Beccaria" penal institution, where the young people took advantage of the works that were being carried out in the prison for a long time, to find a crack and cross the wall.

Immediately, the prison police and other law enforcement officers started checking and after a few hours they managed to track down the two fugitive boys, while the other 5 are still being sought.

Both the Milan prosecutor's office and the juvenile prosecutor's office are investigating the case. The fugitives are all between 17 and 19 years old, some of them of foreign nationality.

Meanwhile, after the escape, the other convicts protested by setting fire to some cells, an incident that was brought under control immediately upon the arrival of the firefighters.

Four firefighting teams intervened to put out the flames of mattresses and other burnt objects in the courtyard of the IEVP for minors. 5 ambulances arrived at the scene.
