Marco Raduano, considered the boss of a mafia clan in Italy, has been captured in France. A year ago he escaped from a maximum security prison in Sardinia. Raduano was able to escape by climbing down the prison wall with knotted sheets.
He was considered one of the 3 Italians included in the list of the most dangerous fugitives present on the Europol website. The manner in which he was imprisoned is also interesting. The "Boss of Viestes" was caught on Thursday, February 1, when he was in an elegant restaurant in Bastia, Corsica, with a girl.
He was caught by the ROS carabinieri, the same unit that arrested Matteo Messina Denaro. Marco Raduano is considered to be at the head of the clan of the same name that manages illegal affairs in the Gargano in Vieste and is linked to other gangs. He is accused of murder, drug trafficking and extortion.
Known in the circles of the world of crime as "Pallone" or "Woolrich", last October 31 he was sentenced to life imprisonment. He was found guilty of the murders of Omar Trotta, on July 27, 2017, and Giuseppe Silvestri, on March 21, 2017, in Monte Sant'Angelo.
