The mass explosions of Hezbollah's communications equipment in Lebanon have raised many questions about how they happened.
The Lebanese Islamic movement Hezbollah has confirmed that it will "continue" its operations in Gaza, despite the bombings that happened earlier.
The explosion, which occurred simultaneously across Lebanon, killed nine people and injured nearly 2,800, including hundreds of members of the Iranian-backed Lebanese movement.
Israel did not comment on the blasts, which took place in Hezbollah strongholds hours after Israel announced that the country was expanding its northern border with Lebanon, the targets of the war against Palestinian Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
A source close to Hezbollah explained yesterday that "hundreds of members" of the movement "were injured by the simultaneous explosion of their telephone connection" in the southern suburbs of Beirut, southern Lebanon and the eastern Bekaa Valley.
