New details have emerged regarding the publication of the video where the nurse Aurona Pelaj raped 70-year-old Minire Nura in the center for the elderly in Peja.

According to the Basic Prosecutor's Office of Peja, during the granting of the security measure to the 3 employees involved, as a justification it was said that the whole ugly act was planned in advance.

It is suspected that Aurona Pelaj had agreed with her two colleagues, Altina and Remzi, to use force to control the elderly woman who had been sheltered for a long time in the 'Orenda' care home. The entire planned event, Pelaj asked to have it documented through phone recordings, a task with which the other nurse, Remzija, was charged.

According to the Prosecutor's Office, even though the suspects knew the elderly woman's serious health condition, they did not hesitate to use force against her. As seen from the published footage, Aurona, while being filmed by Remzija, grabbed the victim's hand and slapped and kneed him in the stomach.

In court, Remzija denied being the one who laughed at her colleague's actions, saying that the laughter heard in the background belonged to Altina and the other nurse, Giltiana Neziri.

The mistreatment of the elderly woman in the "Orenda" center in Pejë has shocked public opinion yesterday after the video published on the network where the mother of a KLA martyr, Taulant Nurajt, Minire Nuraj had fallen prey to animal violence by the caregiver Aurona Pelaj. Nurse Aurona Pelaj along with 2 of her friends has been arrested while the fourth girl is under investigation.
