The scheme of recruiting girls is revealed

The Greek authorities have discovered and attacked a powerful network of exploitation of girls for prostitution, where, according to neighboring media, an Albanian citizen is also part of the organization.

The network in question was run by a 40-year-old woman from Uzbekistan, who has been arrested, while her 35-year-old Albanian partner, another woman from Uzbekistan, and a Bulgarian, who transported the girls to Athens, have also been identified.

The traffic network was dismantled after a woman's attempt to escape from the "claws" of the gang, as a result of which she was rescued by the residents of Vathi Square who alerted the Police. Meanwhile, the media have also discovered the way the group followed, from detection, fraud, recruitment and behavior in the nest of the network, then taking them out on the streets of the capital.

The 40-year-old and her 35-year-old partner "fished" young girls from Uzbekistan by offering them "golden" jobs in Greece. The girls were brought illegally and then kept in inhumane conditions. The pimps controlled two brothels, on Iasonos street in the Omonia area and on Kolonou street in Metaxourgeio, where they used the girls.

The girl originally from Uzbekistan learned from an acquaintance a job in Greece with good salaries. Because she was in a bad financial situation, she contacted the 40-year-old via the Internet, who convinced her to come and work in two brothels she operated with her partner in Athens.

The tutors told him it was a legitimate job, promising him 600 euros a day. The unfortunate woman, together with another victim of the ring, crossed the border on foot to Evros, where a Bulgarian, member of the gang, was waiting for them.

He undertook to transport them in his car to Athens and deliver them to the pimp couple. Initially, the 40-year-old Uzbek woman hosted the woman in an apartment in Michael Voda and then, without informing her, submitted an online application for an illegal residence permit in Greece on her behalf.

She forced him to pay 1,000 euros for both the residence permit and the cost of travel from Uzbekistan to Athens. From then until last Wednesday, the girl's nightmare began. The 40-year-old woman and the 35-year-old Albanian man forced him to live every day in poor sanitary conditions in a ground-floor apartment on Iasonos street.

The victim waited for customers for 12 hours without a break even on days when she was menstruating... And all this for 10 euros that she had to give to the pimps as a debt settlement. While the 40-year-old from Uzbekistan and her Albanian partner had benefited more than 37 thousand euros from exploitation.

In early June, the woman secretly sent 1,500 euros to her mother in Uzbekistan. The 40-year-old tutor realized this and went to the brothel on Wednesday afternoon to punish him. There he began to brutally beat the victim in front of two women as an example to others.

He then took her to an apartment in the district, on Neophytou Metaxa street, threatened her with a knife, punched her in the head and then beat her with a chair. In an attempt to escape the fury of the merciless tutor, she went to the balcony and tried to jump from the first floor.

The neighbors, thinking that the unfortunate woman was trying to kill herself, notified the Immediate Action, which raided the apartment. The girl from Uzbekistan was taken to the hospital with severe head injuries and bruises all over her body, while the police handcuffed the 40-year-old, who threatened her victim not to report her.

The day before yesterday, the Anti-Trafficking in Human Beings Police Department conducted a search in two apartments of the organization, on Neophytou Metaxa street, where they found and seized 2,600 euros, a mobile phone, a passport, as well as bank receipts, transfers to and from Uzbekistan Uzbekistan.

A file was filed against the 40-year-old and her associates for Criminal Organization, Human Trafficking and Violation of the Immigration and Social Integration Code.
