Millions of Greeks are expected to go to the polls to elect 300 new members of parliament.

32 political subjects participate in the voting, of which, according to the latest polls, 4-8 political formations will enter the parliament.

The polls are significantly led by New Democracy of Qyriakos Mitcotakis, followed by Syriza of Alexis Tsipras and Pasok led by Niko Andrulaqis.

By 09:15 local time, the process was open in all polling stations. Delays have been noticed in the appearance of some members of the election commissions, but the Ministry of the Interior announced that all measures have been taken for the smooth running of the process.

Analysts say that the second Sunday is expected to have even less participation than the May 19 process, as citizens are expected to prefer going to the country's many beaches, also due to the high temperatures prevailing these days in the country's territory .
