After harsh reactions to Prime Minister Albin Kurti, the United States Envoy for Special Missions, Richard Grenell , reacted this Sunday to the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani .

Grenell has accused Osmani of manipulating statements by former US President Donald Trump, writing: " Shame on you, Vjosa Osmani ," in reference to her comments on the agreement signed between Kosovo and Serbia at the White House in 2020, during Trump's first term as president.

"Shame on Vjosa Omsnanin for manipulating President Donald Trump's words. Donald Trump was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for his work on peace and economic normalization between Kosovo and Serbia in 2019 and 2020 - through Trump's signing of the Washington Agreement in the Oval Office of the White House. Osmani was not part of that agreement. And to pretend there was something new is absurd," Grenell wrote.

We recall that Osmani also praised the agreement signed between Kosovo and Serbia at the White House in 2020, during Trump's first term as president.

The recent statements by President Trump and President Osmani have sparked reactions, but also uncertainty.

What is missing are concrete details, including the time when, according to them, such an escalation of the situation could have occurred.

During President Trump's first administration, Grenell was one of the main protagonists in American efforts to normalize Kosovo-Serbia relations.
