The Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti has said that at the beginning of next week he will come out with an answer regarding the invitation of the High Representative of the Foreign Policy of the European Union for an urgent meeting in Brussels on crisis management.
This is what Kurti declared after paying tribute to the plaque in Park of the Missing.
"I asked for the meeting to be held in the week that he is going to Brussels as a matter of urgency and I proposed the five-point plan. However, now we have a request that the meeting be next week. Once it was said the 22nd, then the 23rd and again the 22nd.
I will discuss it with my team and surely we will give an answer at the beginning of next week", said Kurti.
He further added that he is engaged in this dialogue, but said that what is missing is the sequencing for the full implementation, without delays and without conditions, of the basic agreement and the implementation annex, reports Telegrafi.
"A sequence which would be balanced and fair, and which is practically completely different from what we were offered on April 26.
So we are committed, we are constructive, but no sequence can have more than half dedicated to Articles 7 and 10…. I understand that articles 7 and 10 are articles of the basic agreement and I am interested in definitely including them in the sequencing, but the dedication to them cannot be of that priority and size", said the prime minister.
He also spoke about the letter that the chairman of the Governmental Commission for Missing Persons, Andin Hoti, sent to Serbia, to request the opening of archives that would help clarify the fate of persons forcibly disappeared during the war.
"We have no response from Serbia regarding the letter sent by Hoti for the opening of the archives there in order to find out the truth and enable justice," he said.
