Israel will be declared a war crimes state, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said as he attended a massive pro-Palestinian protest held in Istanbul.

We will declare Israel a war criminal, we are already working on it," Erdogan said.

Hundreds of thousands of people gathered at a large protest in Istanbul on Saturday.

Erdogan gave a strong speech, saying his country was ready for war if it happens, between crescent and cross.

Part of Erdogan's remarks:

How did Israel end up here? How did you get here? You are an invader. You are a faction, not a state. The West owe you, but Turkey does not owe you.

When I said Hamas is not a terrorist organization, Israel really didn't like it. That's what I said. What did you expect?

Those who mourned the civilians killed yesterday in the Ukrainian-Russian war are now silently watching the deaths of thousands of innocent children in the Gaza Strip.

I call the West! Want a war between the cross and the crescent? Then know that this nation is alive, this nation is standing strong. Just as we were in Libya, as we were in Karabak, so will we be in the Middle East.
