Erdogan and Rutte hand in hand at the NATO Summit, the photo that is attracting

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte were photographed walking hand in hand during the NATO Summit in Ankara, in an image released by the Turkish Presidency that has attracted the attention of public opinion and international media.

The photo has been interpreted by many analysts as a symbolic signal of the close relations between the parties and the increasingly important role that Turkey is gaining within the North Atlantic Alliance.

During the summit, Ankara is expected to play a key role in discussions on regional security, strengthening collective defense and the new challenges facing NATO .
