A fierce clash on the American political scene, which began with Donald Trump's statements in the Oval Office and was followed by Elon Musk's reactions through posts on the X platform, while the American president responded on the Truth network.

"I don't know if we're going to have a good relationship anymore," Trump said during a meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, responding to a question about Musk's criticism of the president's proposed spending and budget cuts. Musk responded in X by accusing Trump of ingratitude: "Without me, he would have lost the election."

Following this crash, Tesla shares fell on Wall Street by over 15%, while those of Trump Media and Technology Group Corp lost 7.3% of their value.

Later, Musk published a poll on X asking: “Is it time to create a new political party in the US that truly represents the 80% of people who are in the center?” Just a few minutes later, about 260,000 people had voted and 84% of them had answered “yes.”

The clash continued on the Truth Network, where Trump wrote: “Elon was ‘exhausting.’ I asked him to leave, I lifted the electric car mandate that forced everyone to buy cars that no one wanted (and he knew for months I was going to do it!), and he just went crazy .”

He also added: “ The simplest way to save billions and billions of dollars from our budget is to cut off subsidies and government contracts for Elon. It always amazes me that Biden didn’t do it! ”

Then, Musk switched to even more serious tones, warning of the release of what he called the "biggest bombshell": " Trump is in the Epstein files. This is the real reason why they haven't been made public. The truth will come out ."
