The capital of Italy, Rome, has decided to build an incinerator for burning garbage.

The article describes the alarming situation in which Rome finds itself with garbage, which worsened even more during the summer when deliberate fires were set in garbage plants, which brought a great deal of air pollution to the ancient European capital.

According to the "New York Times", Rome's incinerator is worth 600 million euros and is expected to be completed in 2025. This plant will turn Rome's garbage into energy.

Mayor Roberto Gualtieri is determined to implement the project that puts an end to the dramatic waste situation.
