A serious incident happened in Britain, where a 2-year-old boy died of starvation next to the body of his dead father.

The father is believed to have died of a heart attack two weeks ago.

It is learned that a social worker made a routine visit to the home on January 2 and when she received no response.

Two days later, on January 4, a social worker went again, but this time he didn't get any answer either.

The bodies of the father and child were not found until January 9, when the social worker herself used a key from the owner to enter the house.

The toddler's 43-year-old mother last saw her son before Christmas after a row with her ex, which the family blamed on social services.
