Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's private residence in Caesarea was targeted by a drone strike from Lebanon earlier this morning.
A drone flew towards Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's home in the northern Israeli city of Caesarea on Saturday. This was announced by his spokesman, adding that the prime minister and his wife were not at home at the time of the attack and that there were no injuries in the incident.
Earlier, the Israeli military said a drone had launched from Lebanon and had hit a building, but did not provide details on which building it was.
Two more drones launched from Lebanon this morning were shot down by air defenses, triggering sirens in the Tel Aviv area.
According to the Israeli ambulance service and police, explosions were heard in Caesarea, the coastal town where Netanyahu has a holiday home.
The drone attack was not immediately claimed by the Iranian-backed Lebanese group Hezbollah, which has exchanged fire with Israel since last October, or any other militant group.
