US President Donald Trump declared that Iran poses a colossal threat not only to the Middle East, but also to the United States.
He warned that Iranian missiles could reach the US mainland and that the country could be under direct threat. Trump stressed the importance of protecting American security in the face of this threat.
Trump announced that the United States will continue "large-scale" operations in Iran until strategic objectives are achieved.
He said that if Iran were equipped with heavy missiles and nuclear weapons, it would be a constant threat. Trump stressed that he had warned Tehran after the June attacks not to restart its nuclear program. He added that US forces would remain ready to neutralize any threat from Iran.
Trump declared that US forces had destroyed and sunk nine Iranian naval vessels and severely damaged the opposing navy, saying that the rest of Tehran's fleet would end up at the bottom of the sea.
According to him, the military operation against Iran is continuing and the offensive is aimed at neutralizing the potential threat from Tehran's missile and nuclear programs. Tensions have risen and Iran is responding to the US with missile and drone attacks in the region.
Trump promised to avenge the four soldiers killed by Iran and stressed that the American military is the most powerful in the world.
He stated that the operation was moving faster than expected and that the United States would continue “as long as necessary.” Trump emphasized that the elimination of the Iranian leaders had been accomplished in just an hour, beyond any expectations.
