A powerful storm has engulfed the Netherlands causing one victim and dozens of unpaid.
The storm with strong winds of up to 145 kilometers per hour has hit several cities causing great economic damage. In Haarlem the situation is critical, with dozens of cars and boats destroyed.
While in Amsterdam, the strong wind uprooted the city's trees. The authorities in the country have called on citizens to stay in their homes, as it is not excluded that the storm will intensify during the following hours.

Natural phenomenon monitors say Cyclone Poly passed through Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands and will move towards Denmark and Sweden on Wednesday evening. The next day the cyclone is expected to lose strength and disintegrate.
Experts say Poly has failed to fully develop into a storm, and is likely a phenomenon known as a sting jet, a tunnel of air created by the collision of high and low pressure at the same time.
