Today, the second day of the trial against the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army is being held at the Special Court in The Hague.

Today, the defense teams of the former leaders will be heard.

Hashim Thaçi's lawyer, Gregory Kehoe, stated that Thaçi has never denied that crimes were committed, but according to him, they were not committed by the KLA.

According to Kehoes, the crimes were not motivated, but were committed by Albanian individuals.

"Crimes were committed, but not motivated. Thaçi does not deny that some crimes were committed by some Albanian individuals. He also informed the Security Council, but denies the claim that crimes were committed by the leadership of the KLA", said the lawyer.
