WhatsApp brings Chat Lock soon, what is it and how will it work?

Some types of Android from big brands like Xiaomi offer app locking capabilities, which require authentication for access, sometimes biometric. The feature can also be added to other networks. Considering the private nature of WhatsApp chats, Meta seems to be taking a step in the right direction with the ongoing development of a biometric chat lock introduced on WhatsApp.

According to foreign media , the Meta-Facebook application may add the Chat Lock option, through which users will be able to block a chat, which can only be read with a fingerprint or password access. Even if someone else tries to open this conversation and fails to authenticate, then it will be deleted.

Little is known about how notifications from these conversations will appear, what happens to media in conversations, and how many conversations we can lock with a code.
