The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, admitted and indirectly confirmed the clashes with the duo Gabriel Escobar and Miroslav Lajçak, during the meeting held in Pristina, but added that the relations with the EU and the USA are excellent.
The head of the government said that during the conversation he was "constructive, dedicated and creative".
"I don't think that these things are solved with pressure and with mention of consequences and maybe even sanctions of the most democratic and progressive state in the Western Balkans", said Kurti.
As the most efficient way out of the crisis caused by the illegal structures in the north of Kosovo, Albi Kurti mentioned the rule of law, the removal of gangs from the four municipalities and then the holding of early elections.
Kurti also spoke about the deadline left by the American special emissary, Gabriel Escobar, to give an answer to the 3 demands of the internationals: the calming of the situation in the north of Kosovo, the holding of new elections and the return to dialogue, although he emphasized that there is no take no ultimatum.
"I did not receive any ultimatum, we met and talked with the European and American emissaries for two hours. I have offered the safe way to have a stable exit from the crisis in the north of Kosovo caused by illegal structures", said Kurti.
The Prime Minister of Kosovo blamed the Serbian List for creating continuous crises, while he also criticized the international factor.
"Naturally, we are disappointed that the international factors have failed to guarantee the participation of the Serbs as they promised us. They told me that as soon as the Ohrid agreement is made, the Serbs will participate, we made the Ohrid agreement on March 18, the deadline passed on March 21, and again they boycott and only boycott", Kurti said.
Regarding the formation of the association, Kurti said that the Government of Kosovo still does not have a written draft for its statute.
"We have complete compatibility with the USA in terms of basic principles", concluded the Prime Minister of Kosovo.
