Prime Minister Albin Kurti emphasizes that Serbia is the only operator of Chinese weapons in Europe, which is openly showing violent aggression towards Kosovo.
In a post on the social network X Kurti gave details about the Chinese weapons used by the Serbian army.
"The FK-3 missile system is one of the Chinese weapons used by the Serbian Army, including the CH-92 drones. This makes Serbia the first and only operator of Chinese weapons in Europe, openly displaying violent aggression towards Kosovo", wrote Kurti.
Earlier, in a meeting with NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg, Kurti spoke about the presence of 48 Serbian operational bases around the border with Kosovo and the anti-aircraft system in the vicinity of this border. Prime Minister Kurti listed the military systems of Serbia, which include the modernized missile system. He said that the FK-3 system is a Chinese missile system, with which in 2022, Serbia became the first country in Europe to operate with Chinese weapons, which included even CH-92 combat drones. He added that the Armed Forces of Serbia have also created a special unit for the surveillance of drones, which as a unit operates within the 63rd Parachute Brigade of the Serbian army.
Stoltenberg, who is visiting the region, emphasized that "the security of the Western Balkans is of particular importance for NATO, while he emphasized that the alliance is considering increasing its troops in Kosovo.
"Following the violence, NATO has deployed around 1,000 additional peacekeepers and heavier armor to Kosovo. This was the biggest reinforcement of our contingent in Kosovo in a decade. And this shows that NATO is ready to keep the peace.
The gathering of Serbian military forces again near the administrative border line with Kosovo would not help the situation," Stoltenberg declared in Belgrade. It seems that this did not go down well with the Serbs in Kosovo who put up banners with inscriptions against NATO.
