The leak of the Elbasan incinerator file investigated by two SPAK prosecutors, Klodian Braho and Ened Nakuçi, shows how easy it is to gather evidence to prove Arben Ahmetaj's connection with this file.
The facts are clear, from the bank accounts and transfers of Klodian Zoto, to the names of the hotels and the dates when Arben Ahmetaj stayed in them.
It would be enough for the prosecutors, at least in two cases, to ask the Austrian and Romanian authorities for cooperation to verify the evidence in the file.
The procedure is simple. In Austria, it is enough to ask if Arben Ahmetaj stayed in the suites of the Star Light hotel in the summer of 2020 and who paid for it. The same applies to the case of JË Marriot Grand Hotel in Bucharest, Romania.
Crossing the obtained data and the answers received from the hotels, i.e. who stayed with Klodian Zoto's account and transfer data, which show who paid, the investigation would reveal whether Arben Ahmetaj benefited from the incinerators or not.
Simplified even more, such procedural actions for a prosecutor are taught in the first year in law schools. This reinforces the fact that the two prosecutors of SPAK, who theoretically should be among the best that the country has today, as long as they are in these positions should have known this, not that they did not know, but they did not want to.
What is the reason why they did not want to include the evidence implicating Arben Ahmatej in this file, as much as Lefter Kokë, only the two prosecutors know the reasons. What is known is that in the worst case we are dealing with incompetence and in the best case a flagrant misuse of the duty and trust that the citizens have given him.
This belief has been shaken recently and it is easily understood that a main reason is the selection of SPAK prosecutors on who to charge and who not. Who is investigated and who is not! Which files drag on and which take to court.
