How will the association of livestock farmers work for milk?

While the applications for benefits from subsidies in agriculture were opened on March 27, the relevant instruction specifying the criteria for benefits was also published.

Referring to the instructions published in the Official Gazette, in the case of livestock support measures, farmers, when applying as an Agricultural Cooperation Society, must have signed a preliminary contract for the sale of milk.

Specifically in the criteria, it is stated that beneficiaries can be individual farmers, group of farmers, SHBB, natural or legal person. Applicant must have active NIPT.

In the case of applying as a group of farmers, the application is considered valid only if all members of the group have NIPT with active status. The applicant (individual farmer/group of farmers) must have at least 10 (ten) registered cows in the basic herd. Or in the case of herds of sheep and goats, not less than 100 heads.

According to the instructions, in the case of applying as a group of farmers, they must have an agreement/joining agreement of the members of the group of farmers, which is uploaded to the system at the time of application. The agreement defines the total number of heads for each member and as a group, as well as the representative of the group making the application.

The instruction states that in the case of applying as a group of farmers, they must have a contract for the sale of milk, between the group of farmers and a licensed milk collecting/processing entity.

The contract stipulates that the amount of milk sold is not less than 30% of the production that the group realizes (based on the average yield at the district level, with reference to INSAT data).

Each member of the group must submit to AZHBR no less than one invoice/self-invoice for the sale of milk. The instruction determines that the amount of milk reflected in all invoices submitted by the group of farmers should not be less than 30% of the annual production.

Animals of the basic herd must be registered in the animal identification and registration system - RUDA. The beneficiary must not be a debtor to the Ministry of Agriculture and the Agency for Agricultural and Rural Development.
