The Constitutional Court annulled the decision on the 15% tax for freelancers, while it has not yet been decided what will be done with the money collected from those who had paid in the meantime.

Asked about this, Finance Minister Petrit Malaj emphasized that they will get an opinion from the Constitutional Court on what will be done with the money collected so far.

"It is an issue that I have followed in the other wing and one of the issues that I have dealt with taking office. The Constitutional Court does not say what will happen from the moment this law enters into force and until the moment it is repealed, since it has produced financial obligations    

We, as the Minister of Finance, are preparing a request to the Constitutional Court to ask what will be done with the funds we have collected. Until we have done this, we cannot make any decision."
