At the last meeting, the Transparency Board decided to increase the price of fuel.
Today a liter of diesel costs 202 ALL. While the experts claim that according to the board's own formula, a liter of diesel should have cost 186 ALL, i.e. 16 ALL cheaper.
Citizens express:
"The board meets only to increase, to decrease, they hardly come together. The board does not protect the interests of the people, but its own personal interests. Today, the price on the stock exchange was raised, in the afternoon the board meets urgently. Why is it not collected immediately when the price drops".
"Only Greece has prices like ours. Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro are all cheaper than us. Although Kosovo receives it at the port of Durrës, so there is also the cost of transportation, it is still cheaper than us. I move in Montenegro with 500 lek. It's a shame, it has nowhere to go. The people of Shkodër go, travel 30 km, to fill the car's tank with cheap fuel. Mali Zi is as big as Kamza, but we are thankful that we have immigrants, if it were for them we would have died for bread".
"Here in our country is a group of people who strive not for the people, but for themselves, for their own interests. They have made the people like a toy, like that cube that does not have the same faces, but confused. Our fuel prices are equal to German, Italian and Austrian prices. While we receive 300 euros in salary and 150 euros we spend on fuel for the car. The Transparency Board is a humorous phenomenon. They gather and reduce the price by 1 lek, while the price is reduced by 10 dollars in the stock market. Their landings are ridiculous, a mockery of the people. There has never been democracy here, there has been anarchy all along."
The white points in Tirana and beyond continue to apply cheaper prices than those set by the Transparency Board. In one of the white spots in the capital, a liter of diesel is sold for 190 lek, i.e. 12 lek less than the price set by the Board./TCH
